The complete application package must contain: 

1. An AVTEF Application Form.

2. A current letter from the organization stating that you were accepted to the College, University or Trade School and Program for which you have applied.

3. A current transcript of any courses you have completed that are relevant to the course or courses you are planning to complete.

4. An essay stating your goals/objectives for utilizing the skills and knowledge you hope to achieve in this program.  Statements about your financial background and your volunteer/ extracurricular activities. Explain how the award will be utilized.

5. At least one reference from someone with which you have or have had a business relationship.

6. A teacher’s reference. (Optional).

7. A photograph (color or black and white). Preferably a head-shot.
