Kennedy V. Tate
2025 Scholarship Recipient

The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation proudly announces . Kennedy V. Tate as one of our 2025 $1,000 Scholarship Award Winners. Kennedy is the daughter of Ameasha Ratcliff and Demony Tate, and is a current resident of Baltimore, Maryland.
Kennedy relocated to Virginia and attended both Bruton High School, Williamsburg, VA and New Horizon Regional Education Center, Newport News, VA during her high school years. She worked at a local Dental Office, gaining valuable skills and experience in her field of interest. She completed Bruton High School and a two-year Dental Assisting Program at New Horizons Education Center while maintaining a 3.4 GPA.
In addition to The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation Scholarship, Kennedy was also awarded the following:
· A Don S. Goodloe Distinguished Merit Scholarship.
· A Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Virginia Scholarship.
Kennedy participated in community and volunteer services with community pool clean up and community trash pickup events. Her sports activities included playing volleyball.
Kennedy is currently attending Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland and is majoring in Biology as a “steppingstone” to fulfilling her interest in a career in Dental Hygiene or Dentistry.

Kailyn Samera-Jade Anderson
2025 Scholarship Recipient

The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation proudly presents Ms. Kailyn Samara-Jade Anderson as a winner of one of the two 2025 Scholarship Awards. Kailyn is the daughter of Cinthia Vicens and Samuel E. Anderson of Hampton, Virginia. Kailyn has two brothers, Nasir Anderson and Royce Anderson. She has one sister, Nori Anderson.
Kailyn was highly recommended for this award by her Criminal Justice teacher and graduated from Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia with Highest Honors. While still in high school, she maintained a GPA of 3.83 and successfully completed 32 credit hours of study at Virginia Peninsula Community College. She also received a Presidential Award.
While in High School, Kailyn worked part-time for AStatcall Answering Service. She was also engaged in Bethel High School Organizations such as:
- A member of a National Honor Society
- Public Relations Officer for the National Honor Society
- A member of the SCA
- A member of the Varsity Softball Team
- A member of the Varsity Track Team
Kailyn is currently attending Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond and is enrolled in a biology program with a minor in pre-dentistry. Her goal is to become a dentist.
She became interested in dentistry while attending a Career Day Fair held at her school with local dentists demonstrating first-hand how oral health impacts physical health. She is looking forward to volunteering with the VCUs Dental School. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she is looking forward to finishing dental school and opening her own dental practice.

Cassidy Noel Christian
2024 Scholarship Recipient

The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation proudly announces Ms. Cassidy Noel Christian as a winner of one of our 2024 $1,000 Scholarships Awards. Cassidy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Artealous Christian of Dallas, Texas. Cassidy has one sister, Mrs. Tanisha Bradley.
As a candidate, Cassidy was highly recommended for this scholarship award by individuals who knew her as a superior student, successful girl scout, as well as an outstanding cheerleader and dancer.
Cassidy is a member of At The Cross Christian Church, Dallas Texas, where she serves faithfully as a member, and in a Youth Group. She also participated in Vacation Bible School and welcomed visitors to the church.
Cassidy graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas in the class of 2024 with a 4.0 GPA, and was inducted into the National Honor Society. She completed 28 credits at Dallas College while attending high school full time. She received other academic awards, to include National Spanish Honor Society and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society.
As a Girl Scout, Cassidy received the Bronze and Silver Awards from the Girl Scouts of America. She joined the Girl Scouts Organization early in her life and has served successfully in it for over 10 years.
Cassidy was very active as a Bishop Lynch High School Cheerleader. She served on the Cheer Council, assisting and mentoring other cheerleaders and won numerous awards in cheerleading competitions.
Cassidy was trained and mentored in Stacia’s School of Dance, winning a myriad of awards in group and solo dance competitions. She received the Stacia’s School of Dance Scholarship Award in May of 2013 – 2014.
Currently, Cassidy is beginning her full-time academic pursuits at Oklahoma University in Norman, Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation is proud to invest in Cassidy’s academic endeavors as she pursues her professional goals and objectives.
Jeremiah E. Davis
2024 Scholarship Recipient

The A & V Tulloss Educational Foundation proudly announces Mr. Jeremiah E. Davis as a winner of one of our 2024 $1,000 Scholarship Awards. Jeremiah is the grandson of Dr. Kimely R. Davis of Madison Heights, VA.
Jeremiah is a 2024 graduate of Amherst County High School. He has maintained a 3.046 GPA. He was highly recommended for this scholarship by one of his teachers who described him as polite, intelligent and a friend to other students.
Jeremiah was a member of the Amherst County High School Basketball Team. This experience allowed him to demonstrate his skills as a player on the court as well as his leadership skills.
In his position as an intern in the School Attendance and Accountability Office, he was known to be polite, intelligent, and a friend to others. He was pleasant and with a positive personality. He was goal-oriented and productive. He made the most of all the opportunities presented to him and is a remarkable young man.
Jeremiah has continued in his family legacy of volunteerism and found a “true love in helping” with the Big Brothers & Big Sister, Ronald McDonald House and the Commonwealth Games.
Jeremiah is a member of a family of Small Business Owners which shaped his desire for a career in Business. He is currently a full-time student pursuing his educational goal to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in Management at Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA.
